Many types of collection exist, but at Bodegas Peñafiel we are perhaps the only people to collect grapes. This is because we know that it is very rare that the natural conditions determining the cultivation of the grape coincide to produce a fruit of exceptional quality. Often we have to wait years before we again encounter a fruit with similar characteristics. A fruit that will never be repeated, and that may only be used to produce extremely select wines, that will then become truly unique. For the first time we are pleased to present to you the Miros de Ribera Private Collection. The cornerstone of a collection that we wish to share with each of our clients.

Produced exclusively using the grape variety Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo). Matured in casks of French oak for 24 months, then bottled to continue ageing for a further 22 months. Deep cherry colour. Complex nose, with notes of well matured soft black fruit and perfectly harmonised hints of French oak. Well balanced, complex and persistent on the palate with a pleasant melting tenacity. A total production of 22,485 bottles of 75 cl. and 634 Magnums of 150 cl.
