Grape varieties: A wine made from grapes of the Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. The Tempranillo grapes are grown at selected vineyards that are over 40 years old and which do not surpass the quantity of 3,500 kg per planted hectare.
Harvest: When the optimum level of ripeness was reached, the grapes were harvested and placed in crates, each holding 15 kg.
Production: Preliminary grape selection at the vineyard before the selection at the grading tables in the bodega, followed by the destemming process.
Fermentation: The fermentation is carried out at supervised temperature in truncated cone-shaped vats made out of stainless steel with a total capacity of 17,000 Kg, during which the quality and quantity of the extraction is potentiated for 14 days.
Maceration: Once the fermentation was completed, it was pumped over and shaken daily for 24 days together with the skin.
Malolactic fermentation: The fermentation took place in the truncated cone-shaped stainless steel vats.
Barrels: In April 2003 the ageing process was initiated in French oak barrels from four different barrel makers. Ageing time in the barrels: 24 months.
Bottled: July 2005 . Alcohol: 13.5 % Vol. Cork: natural, measuring 49 x 24.
